Butter Dips Recipe

Simple finger shaped buttery biscuit. My son likes them best with a garlic flavor added.

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 2 1/4 C. flour
- 1 Tbls. sugar
- 1 Tbls baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 C milk
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Place butter in a 9: x 13: pan in the oven, and remove as soon as melted.
- Sift all dry ingredients together and add the milk and stir until just barely mixed.
- Knead 10 times on floured board.
- Roll out to a 1/2" thick rectangle.
- Cut in half lengthwise and into 3/4" wide strips.
- Roll in the butter in the pan until all are placed into pan.
- Bake in oven for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
- Makes approximately 32.

OHHHHH i love these....I had this recipe in my old Betty Crocker book...I added sesame seeds on top once and they tasted pretty good....I first made these when I was 13. My parents were praising me for these....THANKS FOR POSTING IT HERE!
