Ingredients
  • 7 ounce can crabmeat
  • 1 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 2 hard boiled eggs mashed
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg separated
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups coarsely crushed saltine crackers
  • Paprika

Directions
  1. Combine crab, bread crumbs, eggs, vinegar, Worcestershire, onion, pepper and butter.
  2. Stir in salt, pepper and egg yolk.
  3. In a separate bowl beat egg white until stiff then fold into crab mixture.
  4. Spoon mixture into a greased casserole.
  5. Melt remaining butter then add saltine crumbs and stir to coat well.
  6. Spoon crumbs around edge of casserole and sprinkle with paprika.
  7. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes
