Easy beef stew. One of my mom's favorite winter time recipes.

Ingredients
  • 1 small beef roast
  • 1 bag baby carrots
  • 1 medium onion, cut up
  • 2 large baking potatoes, cut up
  • 1 bayleaf
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Handful of flour

Directions
  1. Put bayleaf in crock pot.
  2. Put whole roast (unfrozen) in crock pot.
  3. Add veggies.
  4. Put water in to just above roast and veggies.
  5. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  6. Set to high temp, cover.
  7. Let cook for 8 hours.
  8. Fork test meat and veggies.
  9. When tender, in a separate bowl, mix a handful of flour with enough water to cover, stir, and add to crock pot.
  10. Let cook another 30 minutes on high.
  11. Serve.
