Lemon Sponge Pie

- juice and rind of 1 lemon shopping list
- 3 tablespoons flour shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 3 eggs separated shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups hot milk shopping list
- 1 unbaked pie shell shopping list
How to make it
- Cream butter and sugar then add egg yolks and beat well.
- Add flour, salt, lemon juice and grated rind then fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
- Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 325 for 45 minutes.
