How to make it

  • scope the potatoes and set aside
  • cook the bacon and crumble and set aside
  • cut up the onions and saute
  • grate the cheese
  • start with low heat in a large heavy pan add the potatoes and the half/half add the whole milk until the consistency is to your liking
  • add in the rest of the ingredients saving some of each to garnish the top if you like ...... just for looks,
  • dont forget to add spices if you like such as garlic, salt, onion powder,
  • the 8 oz mozzarella makes for an adventure omit it if you don't like adventure.
  • KEYS: watch the consistency, the milk and cheese will play games with you, this is a true soup rather than a gravy. and is fully adjustable.
