How to make it

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Reserve 1/3 cup of the dressing.
  • Brush remaining dressing lightly onto one side of the steak and onto cut sides of the peppers.
  • Place the steak and the peppers on the grill, dressing-sides down.
  • Grill the steak for 5 minutes on each side or until medium doneness (160 F).
  • Grill the peppers for 10 minutes. The peppers do not need turning.
  • Meanwhile, place the greens in 4 serving bowls and top with the tomatoes and the onions.
  • Cut the steak across the grain into thin slices.
  • Cut the peppers into strips.
  • Arrange the steak and peppers over the salads.
  • Drizzle with the reserved 1/3 cup of the dressing.
