Mushroom Casserole

- 1 lb. mushrooms shopping list
- 1 oz. butter shopping list
- 1 large onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 c. peas shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- 4 c. cooked brown rice shopping list
How to make it
- wipe and slice mushrooms.
- Heat butter in a large frying pan,
- add onions and saute until golden,remove from heat.
- Add mushrooms and peas, mix together thoroughly,
- season to taste with salt and pepper.
- In a greased ovenproof casserole, alternate layers
- of rice and mixed vegetables.
- Place in a hot oven and cook for 20-30 min.
- or until the vegetables are tender.
