Ingredients
  • 1/2 c drained sun dried tomatoes in oil,chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic,chopped
  • 1/4 to a 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 pkg (13.5 oz) whole grain spaghetti
  • 1 28 oz candiced tomatoes in puree
  • 1 ib fresh or frozen (thawed) shelled and deveined lg raw shrimp
  • 1 1/2 c loosely packed fresh basil leaves,chopped

Directions
  1. Heat a large sauce pot of salted water to boiling on high
  2. meanwhile,heat 12 ins skillet on med until hot.
  3. add sun dried tomatoes,garlic,and crushed pepper,and cook until garlic is fragrant,about 1 min
  4. add spaghetti to boiling water and cook as label directs.add tomatoes with their puree to skillet;heat to boiling on med-high and cook 5 min to blend flavors.
  5. stirring and breaking up tomatoes with side of the spoon.Stir in shrimp;cook 2 min or until they turn opaque throughout.
  6. Drain pasta and return to the saucepot.add shrimp mixture and basil to pasta in saucepot;toss to coat
