A great cake for having company over!..moist and fluffy..best serverd warm! SO EASYY!

Ingredients
  • Brown sugar
  • 1 can of pears
  • 1 3/4 cup sifted cake flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup butter or margerine(4 tbsp)
  • 3/4 cup sugar(12 tbsp)
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup milk(11 tbsp)

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. in a square or pyrex cake pan sprinkle generously with the brown sugar.
  3. place the pears on top of it. set side
  4. lightly spoon the flour into your measures
  5. pour flour ad bakng powder in sieve over medium/small bowl.set aside.
  6. cream butter or margerine in a medium bowl
  7. gradually add sugar; beat until light and fluffy.
  8. add 1 egg and mix in until smooth.
  9. alternately mix in the milk and flour mixture starting and ending with flour.
  10. after its all combined, pour into the pan and bake for 30-40 minutes or until it tests done.
