How to make it

  • Blend softened cream cheese with bacon.
  • Add a few tablespoons of beer gradually until mixture is soft enough to shape into balls.
  • Shape into 1-inch balls (or slightly smaller). Chill.
  • Just before serving, roll balls into buttered popcorn, pressing popcorn firmly into cheese.
  • Makes 2 dozen balls.
