overnight cheese souffle

- 6 slices hearty white bread, remove crusts if you desire to do so shopping list
- butter shopping list
- 2 cups shredded chedar cheese shopping list
- 4 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled shopping list
- 5 eggs shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups milk shopping list
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- ground pepper shopping list
How to make it
- fry bacon crisp, crumble
- butter bread slices
- in a buttered baking dish, alternate layers of bread with shredded cheese and crumbled bacon
- in a bowl mix 5 eggs, well beaten with the milk, dry mustard and salt and pepper
- pour egg mixture over bread and cheese
- cover and let stand in refrigerator overnight
- cover souffle with aluminum foil
- set in pan of hot water to bake 350 degrees F one hour
- let set for 5 minuites before serving
