How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Mix warm spinach with cream cheese.
  • Cook rice in broth and water.
  • Saute mushrooms in butter. When done season with thyme, salt and pepper.
  • In a baking dish layer rice, mushroom and spinach mixture.
  • Bake for 45 minutes.

    Yeah, this was a great recipe and gave me a great idea for some alterations. Kudos Jencathen! That sort of turned it around a bit, but I still ended up with the rice, sauteed mushrooms (same as directions), and spinach. I layered it as directed and topped with some parmesan cheese, provolone, mozzarella. lol. I love cheese. :P Thanks for a great recipe! :P
