Ingredients
  • Generous 1/2 pound pearl onions
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons good vinegar (balsamic, wine, or apple cider vinegar are all nice with this)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins

Directions
  1. Heat the oil and saute' the onions for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the tomato paste, cook and stir for about 2 minutes
  3. Add the vinegar, sugar, and raisins.
  4. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally until the onions are cooked the way you like them.
