Cabbage And Ground Beef Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

1 ½ ground beef

1 med onion chopped

1 small head cabbage

1 can diced tomato

1 can tomato sauce (8oz)

½ - 1 tsp cinnamon

salt & pepper to taste

2 cups hot cooked rice

Directions

Brown ground beef and onion

Transfer to a slow cooker

Mix together tomato sauce, diced tomato, cinnamon, salt and pepper

Slice cabbage into small wedges (8ths)

Top beef with cabbage then pour the tomato mixture over all

Cook for 8-10 hours on low

Serve over rice

Mark, we are big cabbage eaters here, Thanks for a new idea. I have a recipe for stuffed cabbage. But over rice? We usually fry potatoes when we do cabbage. That sounds so good "5"...Cheryl
