This recipe is like a Jell-o Poke cake but jazzed up a little more.

Ingredients
  • 1-loaf angel food cake, cut into 1-in. cubes
  • 2 pkgs. strawberry Jell-o
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 pkg. (20-oz.) frozen unsweetened strawberries, thawed
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 carton (8-oz.) frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions
  1. Arrange cake cubes in a single layer in a 13x9x2-in. dish.
  2. In a bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water; stir in strawberries.
  3. Pour over cake and gently press cake down.
  4. Refrigerate until set, about 1 hour.
  5. In a bowl, whisk milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  6. Spoon over gelatin layer.
  7. Spread with whipped topping.
  8. Refrigerate until serving.
