How to make it

  • Toss shrimp and 1 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning in med bowl to coat
  • Cook bacon in large non stick skillet over med-high heat
  • until crisp and brown
  • using slotted spoon,transfer bacon to papertowel to drain.
  • add flour ro drippings in skillet,stir constantly till roux is very dark brown,about 5 min
  • add okra and cherry tomatoes,stir in remaining 1 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning cook 1 min.
  • add clam juice and all spice
  • boil until saauce is thick,stirring often,about 3 min
  • add shrimp.
  • saute shrimp until opaque in center about 5 min
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper
  • Mix in choped green onions and cooked bacon
  • serve
