Black Olive Cilantro Dip

- 1 cup mayonnaise shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
- 2 cups drained canned chopped black olives shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups finely chopped green onion (approx 1 sml bunch) shopping list
- 1 cup chopped fresh cilantro shopping list
- 1/4 cup lime juice shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (i.e. Tabasco or Habenero sauce) shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- tortilla chips shopping list
How to make it
- In a medium bowl, mix mayonnaise and sour cream together to blend.
- Add olives, onions, cilantro, lime juice, garlic and hot pepper sauce.
- Season with salt, pepper, and additional hot pepper sauce to taste.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until well chilled, at least 1 and up to 6 hrs.
- Stir and serve with tortilla chips.
- Recipe can be halved.
