Oven Pot Roast

- Serves 4
Pot roasts can be difficult to do right, but this old family recipe makes it easy. Goes well with homemade bread or dinner rolls
Ingredients
- 2 to 4 lbs. chuck roast shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- Dash of pepper sauce shopping list
- 1/2 clove, finely chopped garlic shopping list
- 1 onion (sliced) shopping list
- 1 c sliced celery shopping list
- 3 or 4 medium sized potatoes peeled and cut into chunks shopping list
- 3 carrots cut into cubes shopping list
How to make it
- Season roast with salt and pepper sauce
- Put in a covered pan
- Bake at 300 for 1 hour
- Place garlic, onion and celery on top of meat
- Place potatos and carrots around it
- Cover and bake for 1 hour or untill done.
