One Pan Whiskey Flavored Pork Chops Recipe
Delicious way to prepare pork chops or pork sirlon. VERY popular at our house served with rice. I usually use Jack Daniel's Black Label.

Ingredients
  • 2/3 cup light sour cream
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried or 1 tablespoon minced, fresh sage
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 pork chops or pork sirloins (I usually use pork sirloin)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 8 ounces white mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup whiskey

Directions
  1. Mix first 6 ingredients (for sauce) in a small bowl, set aside.
  2. Spray oven proof skillet with cooking spray.
  3. Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper.
  4. Brown both sides of pork, remove and keep warm.
  5. Saute onion and mushrooms in same pan for about 3 minutes.
  6. Deglaze pan with the whiskey.
  7. Add sour cream mix and combine well.
  8. Add pork and spoon sauce over pork.
  9. Wrap skillet handle with aluminum foil if necessary.
  10. Cover skillet and bake in oven at 300 for 1 hour or until pork is done.
  11. Approximately 310 calories and 9 grams fat per serving
