Chocolate Fudge Brownies

- 400gr dark chocolate shopping list
- 300 gr unsalted butter shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 400 gr soft brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence shopping list
- 55 gr plain flour shopping list
- 2 tsp baking powder shopping list
- a pinch of salt shopping list
- 285gr pecan nuts shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 160°C/325°F. Butter and flour a 20cm×29cm×5cm baking tin.
- Melt the chocolate and the butter together. Lightly whisk the eggs, sugar and vanilla essence and stir into the chocolate mixture. Fold in the flour, baking powder and salt.
- Fold in the pecans.
- Pour into prepared tin and bake for 1 hour or until skewer comes out clean.
- Allow to cool and cut into squares.
