Lemonade Nut Bread

- 4 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel shopping list
- 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2-1/2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 3/4 cup milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- 4 teaspoons lemon juice shopping list
- 4 tablespoons powdered sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs and lemon peel then beat well.
- Sift together flour, baking powder and salt then add to creamed mixture alternately with milk beating until smooth after each addition.
- Stir in pecans then pour into greased loaf pan and bake at 350 for 55 minutes.
- Let cool in pan for 10 minutes.
- Combine lemon juice and sugar then spoon over top.
- Remove from pan and cool.
- Wrap and store overnight.
