Ingredients

1 lb. Pkg. Pitted dates

1 cup walnuts

1 tsp. Baking powder

1 heaping tbsp. Flour

3 eggs

1 tsp. Vanilla

1 cup sugar

Directions

Grind together dates and walnuts in a food processor. Beat egg yolks and whites separately. Add beaten yolks to date-walnut mixture and blend. Mix in baking powder, flour, sugar and vanilla. Fold in the beaten egg whites. Bake in greased 8" x 8" pan for approximately 40 minutes at 365. Serve warm in squares topped with whipped cream or ice cream.
