I have made this dish for years, and I still get requests for the EASY recipe.

Ingredients
  • 1 chicken cut up into 8 pieces
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 bottle Spicy Honey Bar B Q sauce (kraft)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup water

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. In a large hot skillet heat butter till melted and add in onions and garlic.
  3. Lay chicken pieces in skin side down and do not move around. Salt & Pepper.
  4. After about 4 minutes, flip chicken to other side to brown.
  5. Remove chicken and onions from skillet to a large roasting pan that has been treated with non stick cooking spray. Chicken will NOT be throughly cooked. Pour entire bottle of sauce over chicken and onions. Add in 1/2 cup water. Cover pan with tin foil and bake for 1 hour. Chicken will be falling off the bone tender.
