This is an old family favorite....We usually have this with fried fish..

Ingredients
  • 1 cup grits
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 roll garlic cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • grated cheese, optional
  • corn flake crumbs, optional

Directions
  1. Cook grits in boiling salted water until tender; remove from heat.
  2. Add garlic cheese and butter; stir until butter is melted.
  3. Beat in eggs.
  4. Pour mixture in well buttered 7 x 11 baking dish.
  5. Top with grated cheese and corn falke crumbs.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes in 350 degree oven
