Crab-apple Salad Recipe

Prep time is assuming you already have the crab meat available and don't have to sit and pick crabs! Prep:10m Servings:4	Grandmacook

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups chopped celery

2 cups cooked crab meat (fresh, frozen, or canned) left in good-sized pieces

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

1 tart apple, cored and cut into slivers (about 1 cup)

1/2 cup mayonnaise

salt, to taste

Lettuce leaves to line bowl or individual dishes (about 4 cups)

1 red apple, peel left on, cut into slices

1 lemon, cut into 4 wedges

Directions

Mix together the first six ingredients.

Cover and chill for several hours.

When you are ready to eat, place lettuce in serving bowl or 4 individual serving dishes.

Top with apple slices and lemon slices.

Serve immediately.

Squeeze lemon wedges over salad if you wish.

Here is the recipe nutrition info I came up with. I made small changes for what I had on hand. I used canned crab claw meat, Sunkist Almond Accents instead of walnuts and Hellmans Light Mayonaise for these calculations.
