How to make it

  • Combine taboule mix with water and let stand 30 minutes according to package directions.
  • Add ground beef and herbs.
  • Divide mixture into golf ball sized pieces and form into egg shapes.
  • Put on tray and bake at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes.
  • Serve warm with Cacik (recipe provided seperately).

    Simple Near Eastern food! You had me at the taboule!

    I too, have vegetarian friends that I'm modifying dishes for. Tell me, what are some in your favorites? I have been enjoying the challenge of taking classic meat dishes and modifying them. -- turns out, I'm starting to prefer vegetarian food lol. Hard to get me off the barbecue though ;-)
