Brussels Sprouts And Cream

- 1 pound bag frozen Brussels sprouts shopping list
- 2 Tbsp flour shopping list
- 3/4 cup water shopping list
- 3/4 cup cream shopping list
- 1 tspsalt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp ground thyme shopping list
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs shopping list
How to make it
- Cook Brussels sprouts according to package directions or your preferred method, then drain if you added water. (I like to cook mine in the microwave in a shallow dish for about 12 minutes on high, turning the dish twice).
- While the Brussels sprouts are cooking, stir together flour and water in a heavy saucepan until smooth.
- Add cream, salt and thyme and bring to a boil, stirring constantly so it does not burn or stick!
- Turn down heat and simmer gently until it thickens slightly.
- Mix in the cooked Brussels sprouts.
- Top with bread crumbs and serve at once.
