Paprika Cream Chicken Recipe
Perfect comfort food which takes little preparation time. Can be done without the Broccoli if you don't like it.

Ingredients
  • 750g Chicken Pieces
  • 2 Tablespoon of Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon of Butter
  • 2 Medium Onions, sliced
  • 1 Garlic clove, crushed
  • 3 Teaspoons Paprika
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 3/4 Cup (185ml) Chicken Stock
  • 1/4 Cup (65ml) cream
  • 4 medium Potatoes, cubed
  • 1-2 Heads of Broccoli, cubed
  • Chopped Parsley to decorate

Directions
  1. Heat oil and butter in a flameproof casserole, add onions and garlic and sautee until onions are transparent.
  2. Stir in half the paprka.
  3. Add chicken pices and cook until browned on all sides.
  4. Add broccoli, potatoes, salt, pepper and strock and bring to the boil.
  5. Reduce heat, cover and simmer gently for 25-30 minutes, until vegetables are tender.
  6. Mix remaining paprika with cream, then fol into the casserole and stir to mix smoothly.
  7. Heat but do not boil, and serve sprinkled with parsley
