Stuffed Tomatoes

- two tomatoes (per person i'd say) shopping list
- onion shopping list
- garlic shopping list
- cheese shopping list
- shaved ham (optional, it can be a vegetarian dish too) shopping list
How to make it
- pre-heat yer oven to around 180°C
- cut up your onion, and put that along with two whole garlic cloves in a tray to bake in your oven, until caramalised-y and brown
- you need to gut your tomato. and i don't want to lie, this can be a very, very tricky operation. i don't attempt it on my own. okay, step one, cut a circle around the top of your tomato, all the way in. then, get a teaspoon, shove the teaspoon into said cut ring and proceed to gut. it's messy and a little off putting, and i suggest backup.
- NOW, line the inside walls of your wonderfully gutted tomatoes with slices of cheese.
- in your shaved ham, wrap up one whole garlic clove and insert it into your cheesy tomato.
- now, whatever space is left should be filled with onion.
- put your stuffed tomatoes on a tray, drizzle some olive oil over them and put them in your oven!
- remove when tomatoes are peeling/blackening slightly.
- enjoyyyy.
