Ingredients
  • 1 Level teaspoon of sugar
  • 1-1/2 ounces of Good Cognac (or) Brandy
  • 1/2 ounce of Cinnamon Spiced Wine
  • 1 ounce of Strong Coffee
  • Pour into your Brulot cups (like a demi-tasse) and serve.

Directions
  1. ~First made by the gentleman,who coined the phrase~
  2. The gentleman's name was Dominique You's. His real name was Frederic Youx. A New Orleans drink I believe...not sure of the year invented.Dominique You was quite a romancer and was better know for the phrase he coined,which went like this:Les BonBons Acceuillis,Produisent Leur Effet,Mais La Liqueur Travaille Plus Vita Cet Effet. ~Translated to simple words~"Candy is Dandy but Liquor is Quicker" His tomb is said to be downtown New Orleans.
