Sassy Italian Meatballs

- 1 pound lean ground chuck shopping list
- 6 tablespoons Italian dressing shopping list
- 1 egg, beaten shopping list
- 2 slices white bread shopping list
- 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1 medium onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 8 oz can tomato sauce shopping list
- 1/4 cup tomato paste shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil or oregano shopping list
How to make it
- Combine meat, 4 tablespoons Italian dressing, egg, bread and parmesan cheese.
- Shape into meatballs; brown in remaining Italian dressing.
- Remove meatballs; saute onion until tender in pan.
- Return meatballs to skillet.
- Blend tomato sauce, tomato paste and water; add to meatballs with basil or oregano.
- Simmer covered for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve over hot speghetti.
