Ingredients
  • 1 pound lean ground chuck
  • 6 tablespoons Italian dressing
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 slices white bread
  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil or oregano

Directions
  1. Combine meat, 4 tablespoons Italian dressing, egg, bread and parmesan cheese.
  2. Shape into meatballs; brown in remaining Italian dressing.
  3. Remove meatballs; saute onion until tender in pan.
  4. Return meatballs to skillet.
  5. Blend tomato sauce, tomato paste and water; add to meatballs with basil or oregano.
  6. Simmer covered for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Serve over hot speghetti.
