Appetizer Artichoke Bread Recipe
APPETIZER ARTICHOKE BREAD This is a recipe I obtained from an Estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Brooks Estate in Richardson, Texas in 2006.

Ingredients
  • 1 loaf unsliced French bread
  • 1-1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 cups shredded pepper jack cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 6-1/2 ounces marinated artichoke hearts drained and chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
  • 2 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning

Directions
  1. Cut bread in half lengthwise then hollow out leaving 1/2" shell.
  2. Set shell aside.
  3. Place removed bread in a food processor or blender then cover and process until crumbly.
  4. Combine bread crumbs, sour cream, butter and sesame seeds then spread onto a baking sheet.
  5. Broil 4” from heat for 10 minutes or until lightly browned stirring once.
  6. Combine the crumb mixture, cheeses, artichokes, garlic, parsley and lemon-pepper.
  7. Spoon into bread shells then place on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until golden brown then slice and serve warm.
