An excellent and very different brisket. Not BBQ but a savory main dish that makes it's own gravy. Every likes it.

Ingredients
  • One brisket 5-8 lbs.
  • 1 large clove garlic quartered
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
  • 1tsp Basil
  • 1 tsp Thyme
  • 1 TBLS Parsley
  • 1 small can chopped black olives

Directions
  1. Trim most of the fat off (really) Lay fat side up in foil lined pan
  2. poke your knife into the brisket in 4 places and push in garlic wedge
  3. spread soup on top of brisket
  4. Sprinkle herbs evenly over soup
  5. Spread black olives evenly over all
  6. Wrap tightly with foil \bake @250 one hour per pound or somewhat less if you want it firmer.
  7. Don’t leave anything out just because it sounds weird, the flavours work well together when cooked..
  8. There will be a lot of gravy, thicken and season if needed.
