Greek Chicken Dinner

- 6 medium yukon gold potatoes,quartered shopping list
- 1 broiler/frer(31/2lbs) cut up and skin removed shopping list
- 2 large onions,quartered shopping list
- 1 whole garlic bulb,sperated and peeled shopping list
- 3tsp. dried oregano shopping list
- 1tsp salt shopping list
- 3/4tsp pepper shopping list
- 1/2c plus 1Tbs. water divived shopping list
- 1Tbs olive oil shopping list
- 4tsp cornstarch shopping list
How to make it
- Place potatoes in 5qt. slow cooker. add chicken,onion and garlic. In a small bowl,combine oreganosalt,pepper and 1/2c water;pour over chicken and vegetables. Drizzle with oil. Cover and cook for 5-6 hours or till chicken juices run clear and vegetables are tender.
- Remove chicken and vegetables to a serving platter and keep warm.. Strain cooking juices ans skim fat;transfer to smalll saucepan. Combine cornstarch and remaining water till smooth,stir into juices. Bring to a boil;cook and stir 2 mins. or till thickened
- Serve with chicken and vegetables.
