Ingredients
  • 400g Cauliflower (cut into small florets)
  • 50g Onion
  • 25g Green chillies
  • 50g All-Purpose flour
  • 50g Cornflour
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • Pepper powder (black, preferable) and salt to taste
  • 10ml Soy sauce (chilli sauce may be substituted)
  • 10ml Tomato puree/ketchup
  • 25ml oil
  • 15g garlic
  • Food colour (red)

Directions
  1. Mix both the flour with pepper powder, beaten egg, tomato ketchup and soy sauce to a very thick batter
  2. Soak cauliflower florets in the batter and fry in oil.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions, green chillies and garlic. Add little salt and pepper.
  4. Add fried cauliflower florets and simmer.
  5. Depending upon the thickness required, add watered cornflour.
