How to make it

  • Slice the mozzarella and tomatoes, arrange beautifully on a plate - I usually alternate, or stack a tomato slice on a mozzarella slice.
  • Chiffonade the basil leaves: stack the leaves and roll tightly, the long way. Slice thinly, separate the slices - you'll now have basil ribbons.
  • Sprinkle basil over cheese and tomatoes. Drizzle truffle oil and balsamic vinegar over everything.
  • Serve.
