From annalou 17 years agoIngredients
- 4 lemons shopping list
- 16-20 sweet red cherries shopping list
How to make it
- Wash the lemons and cherries
- Cut a thin slice of the bottom of lemon, placing so that it sits easily on a plate.
- Make a cut half-way down into the lemon, where you want one edge of the handle to be.
- Perpendicular to the handle cut, carefully slice lengthwise just to the handle cut, and remove piece.
- Repeat on other side.
- Cut out the thin interior meat in the handle. Handle is complete.
- Using a knife carefully cut around the interior edge of the lemon, leaving the handle intact.
- Using knife and serrated spoon, hollow out the interior of the lemon until you have a nice basket. (Reserve the interior to make lemon juice for another use.)
- Repeat with other lemons.
- Arrange baskets on plate, and fill artfully with cherries.
- Enjoy the eye-feast and taste sensation.
