How to make it

  • Sautee the vegetables in olive oil until just crisp
  • sprinkle salt and pepper,remove from heat
  • beat the eggs,adding the half and half,vermouth,salt and pepper to tatste
  • add vegetable mixture and bread cubes
  • fold the cream cheese carefully so the cubs remain intact
  • pour into a well greased 8 x12 oven proof babking pan
  • sprinkle top with cheddar cheese.
  • bake 30 to 40 min in 350 oven,until just firm
  • let rest 10 min before serving
