Summertime Shredded Pork Sammies Recipe
Serve this shredded pork sandwich on a lazy summer day.

Ingredients
  • 4 lb pork roast
  • 2 onions, sliced and divided
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 5 – 6 whole cloves
  • 2 c water
  • 16 oz BBQ sauce
  • Rolls for serving

Directions
  1. Slice one onion and layer on bottom of slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle S&P over roast and lay on top of onion.
  3. Cover with second onion and enough water to fill crock pot 2/3 way.
  4. Cook on low 10 – 12 hours.
  5. Remove roast, fat water, onions and grease from crock pot.
  6. Cool roast enough to handle.
  7. Put back in pot and shred the pork.
  8. Add the last onion, chopped and bottle of BBQ sauce.
  9. Heat on high for 1 – 3 hours.
  10. Serve on warm rolls.
