How to make it

  • Slice one onion and layer on bottom of slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle S&P over roast and lay on top of onion.
  • Cover with second onion and enough water to fill crock pot 2/3 way.
  • Cook on low 10 – 12 hours.
  • Remove roast, fat water, onions and grease from crock pot.
  • Cool roast enough to handle.
  • Put back in pot and shred the pork.
  • Add the last onion, chopped and bottle of BBQ sauce.
  • Heat on high for 1 – 3 hours.
  • Serve on warm rolls.
