Egg Nog the way your grandparents enjoyed it: filled with booze!

Ingredients
  • 24 eggs
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 2 quarts heavy cream
  • 2 quarts milk
  • 2 quarts bourbon
  • Nutmeg

Directions
  1. Separate the eggs.
  2. Beat the yolks with 2 cups of the sugar.
  3. Stir in the milk and cream.
  4. Slowly stir in the bourbon.
  5. Set aside for three or four hours to allow the eggs to 'cook' in the bourbon.
  6. Just before serving, beat whites with the remaining cup of sugar and fold it into the nog.
  7. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
  8. Keep iced.
