Saucy and tangy venison stroganoff

Ingredients
  • 1.5 lbs ground venison
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 1/4 c butter
  • 1.5 c sour cream
  • 1/4 c grated onion
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 lbs sliced mushrooms
  • 1 Tbsp tomato paste
  • dash of hot pepper sauce

Directions
  1. Combine meat, onion, 1 tsp salt and pepper; shape into small patties about 1 inch wide and 1/2 inch thick. Melt butter in skillet, brown patties and mushrooms. Add sour cream, remaining salt, tomato paste and hot sauce. mix and heat. Serve immediately with rice or egg noodles.
