Sirloin Tips With Mushrooms Recipe
This is a very nice and comforting beef tip recipe bursting with great flavors and a nice sauce to put over top. Great over egg noodles as well. Enjoy

Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 pounds sirloin steak cubed
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3/4 pound mushrooms sliced
  • 1/3 cup beef broth
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream

Directions
  1. Brown meat in 1 tablespoon margarine and oil then add garlic.
  2. Remove browned pieces to casserole with lid.
  3. Sauté mushrooms in remaining margarine then add to meat and cover.
  4. Bake at 300 for 45 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile add broth, water and soy sauce to meat drippings.
  6. Boil stirring up browning until reduced to a glaze.
  7. Blend mustard, cornstarch and cream then add to pan and boil until thick.
  8. Pour off juices from meat into sauce in pan.
  9. Boil whisking until smooth and thick then blend with meat and sprinkle with parsley.
  10. Serve with hot rice mixed with toasted almonds.
