How to make it

  • Pour boiling water over freshly grated coconut meat.
  • Let set several minutes
  • .
  • Place in blender and carefully puree mixture.
  • Strain through cheesecloth,pressing out as much liquid as possible.
  • Discard coconut.
  • Cool mixture and cover and chill.
  • Use within a day or two.
  • Or freeze for later use.
  • Note: use as you would for any coconut milk recipe, Indian cooking etc.
