How to make it
- Put the mustard seeds into a small pan and cover with the oil. Heat them over a medium flame until they start to pop and become aromatic. Remove the pan from the heat and immediately pour the oil with the seeds into a small dish.
- Put the diced cucumber into a large container and stir in the buttermilk, dill and salt.
- When the mustard seeds are cool, stir them with their oil into the cucumber mixture.
- Chill for at least four hours or overnight.
