Tomato Bruschetta

- 1 loaf Italian bread shopping list
- 1 garlic clove minced shopping list
- 2 tablespoons olive oil shopping list
- 2 large tomatoes peeled seeded and chopped shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil shopping list
How to make it
- Cut bread halved lengthwise then cut crosswise diagonally into 1" slices.
- Toast bread under broiler until lightly browned.
- Combine garlic and olive oil then brush over one side of bread.
- Spread tomatoes over bread then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Broil for 30 seconds to heat the tomatoes then sprinkle with basil and serve.
