Tuna Macaroni Salad Recipe

	Sas / All my dishes 1 year, 5 months ago Every summer You go to a picnic and end up with elbow macaroni and mayonnaise on your plate and somebody calls this macaroni salad. Which part is the salad? Ingredients

1 lb. small shells

Mayonnaise to taste; at least 3 cups

1 lg can of light-meat tuna packed in water; drained well

4 hard- boiled eggs, cooled and chopped

1 tsp. yellow mustard

5 stalks celery minced and squeezed through a napkin or cheesecloth

1 large carrot shredded and squeezed through a napkin or cheesecloth

2 tbs fresh parsley chopped

Sea Salt

Course ground pepper; lots of it.

Depending on the Party suggestions:

Peas

Shrimp

Red Onion

Directions

Cook macaroni according to box directions. Drain and cool

Combine all of the ingredients

Refrigerate and taste before serving to see if needs more mayo, salt or pepper

This is very much like the one I make. I add a few green onions. It is a wonderful salad, and especially good with shrimp.
