Provence Mushrooms Recipe
These mushrooms are the perfect accompaniment to pork chops

Ingredients
  • 2 6oz. boxes crimini mushrooms(can use baby bella or button)
  • 1 large shallot,minced
  • 3Tbs olive oil
  • 11/2tsp herbes de Provence
  • 2Tbs half and half
  • 1/4c Chablis,sherry or port(or a mix)

Directions
  1. Heat oil in skillet over med heat. add the shallots and cook 1 min. Add the mushrooms and cook 5 mins,stirring occasionally. Once the mushrooms soften, add the herbes de Provence and stir. add the half and half and stir till warmed. Stir in the wine,mix well. If the sauce is thick enough for your liking,serve right away,or raise heat a bit and reduce the sauce till it is thick enough.
