How to make it

  • Take the hearts from the artichokes.
  • Place the artichoke hearts, onions, and peppercorns in the stock with 1 c milk.
  • Bring to a boil, and simmer for 1 hour.
  • Remove the peppercorns, and blend the soup with the lemon juice and vinegar.
  • Return to pan, stir in 2 c. milk and salt to taste.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Serve with croutons.
