How to make it

  • In a medium saucepan, bring 1 cup water and 1/2 cup sugar to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes.
  • Cool this sugar syrup to room temperature.
  • Mix this syrup with the wine, the liquer, the limes and oranges.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 24 hrs.
  • Before serving, pour fruit mixture into a pitcher or punch bowl. Stir to mix and add 2 cups sparkling water to mixture.
