Ingredients
  • 1 can good quality asparagus (whole not tips)
  • 1/3 stick butter
  • 12 thin slices of deli baked or smoked ham(not honey cured)
  • 4 oz. cream cheese with chives(soft)
  • 8 oz. Italian blend shredded cheese
  • cracked pepper and salt to taste

Directions
  1. Open and drain asparagus.
  2. Divide and spread cream cheese evenly on top of each ham slice.
  3. Place two to three asparagus on top of ham and cream cheese.
  4. Season asparagus with salt and cracked pepper if desired.
  5. Roll up ham slices and place in microwavable casserole dish or plate.
  6. Cut butter into 12 pieces and place a piece on each ham role.
  7. Sprinkle with cheese.
  8. Microwave 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is completely melted. Serve over Buttered garlic toast or by itself.

Grilling is a good idea. I have also baked them for about 10 to 12 minutes in a 350 degree oven. All cooking methods work well. Thanks ya'll!
